Breaking Into My Game Library: My Thoughts on Transistor

Breaking Into My Game Library: My Thoughts on Transistor

I always download the free PSN games every month, just so I have a library to refer back to when I want something new to play. Transistor is one of those games. Developed by Supergiant games, this is their second release after Bastion, which is another game I’ll be buying based off my experience with Transistor. I remember playing this game for a little while when I first got it, and was enjoying it, until I started playing a new…

My Favourite Video Game Soundtracks #2

My Favourite Video Game Soundtracks #2

I’ve been playing quite a few games lately, and there’s some newly discovered soundtracks that I love. It’s hard to pick individual soundtracks from albums, so I’ll share some of my favourite video game soundtrack albums with you. Transistor I’ve just finished playing through the game, and I absolutely loved it! One of the major highlights from the game was the soundtrack. Deus Ex Mankind Divided Mankind Divided has very quickly become one of my favourite games of all time….

Video Game Collecting: What I Collect

Video Game Collecting: What I Collect

I’ve written about video game collecting in previous posts, and mentioned briefly that I collect for the PS3 console, however I never went into detail. In this post, I’ll talk about the things I collect, and in future posts I’m thinking about doing weekly pickups posts. I enjoy watching videos on Youtube about other people’s pickups, so I’m thinking about doing a weekly post here that others might enjoy too.

Where to Start With Video Game Collecting

Where to Start With Video Game Collecting

There’s so many things people collect, in fact, there’s basically a collector for everything these days. Now I’ll be honest, I’m no expert on video game collecting. I just collect for the PS3 console and I have no desire to change that for the moment, as there is still so much I need to collect. I’m quite new to collecting, but I love it. There’s so much out there you could collect, it’s a great hobby to jump into!

Video Game and Blogging Goals for 2017

Video Game and Blogging Goals for 2017

I set some goals and the beginning of 2016 and I’m going to do the same again this year, except this year I’m going to be more motivated, and dedicate a lot more time to actually making them happen. As for my blog, I’m going to be publishing 2 blog posts per week. At the moment I only do a couple a month, and I’ve been working on more posts for the near future to give me a head start…

My Biggest Gaming Regret

My Biggest Gaming Regret

This is something I often think about. It’s quite an easy answer for me, but in a small, tiny way, I’m glad it happened. My biggest gaming regret has to be when I sold all the games and consoles I owned as a kid. I gave some away which to charity shops, sold some to game stores and some online. This was back when I didn’t understand how valuable they may be, not financially, but in a more sentimental way.

What I’m Currently Playing

What I’m Currently Playing

I couldn’t take it no more. I caved under pressure. I have some friends at work who were going on about the Borderlands Handsome Collection, and how good it was, so I decided I had to make the purchase. I bought it for the Xbox One, now I’ve played a little of the series a while ago, when I got Borderlands 2 as it came out for free on PSN for PS3 players.

Completed: Deus Ex Mankind Divided Thoughts

Completed: Deus Ex Mankind Divided Thoughts

I’m just going to get right into it. What a game! The benchmark had been set so high with Human Revolution, I knew it would be incredibly hard to surpass, but I believe they have done it. The story was incredible, I loved it. I’m not going to get into it, because I don’t want to ruin it if you haven’t played it yet. I very rarely play games through a second time, but I’m definitely going to start over…

The World’s Second Most Popular Game I’ve Never Played

The World’s Second Most Popular Game I’ve Never Played

Minecraft. A game that’s devoured hours of people’s lives with a simple combination of building blocks and millions of imaginations. Earlier this year the game was recorded to be selling 53,000 copies per day, and hit a colossal total of games sold at 100,000,000! Not bad then for a game which started out life in 2009 as a bedroom development.

Journey: The Best Selling PSN Game

Journey: The Best Selling PSN Game

I completed this game ages ago, yet I felt like I needed to write this post. It’s not going to be a review of the game, but some games just need to be spoken about, and not knowing anyone in person who’s played this game, I figured it’s best to talk about it here. Where to start, well, what a game! I first played this game on the PS3 when it was first released, and I remember the first time…
